James A. 'Jim' Mullinax, Greer
James Andrew Mullinax, 64, of 200 S. Beverly Lane, Apt. J-101, died Sept. 9, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital after several years of declining health.

Born in Lavonia, Ga., he was a son of the late Samuel L. and Ila Gibson Mullinax. He was retired from Ryder Inc. and was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Loretta Miller Mullinax, of the home; two sons, Steven A. Mullinax and his wife Debra, of Pelzer, and Richard S. Mullinax and his wife Gretchen, of Greenville; two sisters, Josine Cantrell and Martha Hawk of Greer; two brothers, Russell Mullinax of Peabody, Mass., and Paul R. Mullinax of Florida; one granddaughter, Hillary Mullinax, of Greenville; and two grandsons, A.J. Mullinax of Pelzer and Eric Mullinax of Greenville. He was predeceased by two brothers, E.T. Mullinax and the Rev. S. Robert Mullinax.

Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
